"I SWIPED LEFT" PRINT
In collaboration with Kyle Le, we set out to create a set of posters utilizing a non-conventional print method. The concept stemmed from the act of looking through the car windshield on a daily commute. Leaves or other debris often get caught on the windshield and are swept away without a second thought.
This idea led to the method of using the swiping motion of a car’s windshield wipers and the pigment left by spring mix salad leaves. After going through several tubs of salad, 26 prints were produced.

We were fascinated by how prints would dry differently depending on the freshness or the amount of leaves used.
